Complete Microbiome Map (CMM)

This is a fantastic test which assesses the functional status of how well you are breaking down and absorbing your nutrients and uses the latest technologies that are gold standard in terms of reliability. The information from this test allows us to make targeted recommendations most specific to your unique bodies needs. The test examines:

  • Functional markers such as intestinal inflammation levels, enzymes levels, leaky gut indications, immune cell health and much more.

  • Parasites and worms.

  • Non-beneficial bacteria overgrowths.

  • Pathogens, such as H.pylori.

ALCAT Food Sensitivity Testing

Food sensitivity panels go hand in hand with CMM testing. This test addresses any food sensitivities that may be present for you, which can cause inflammation in the body. It is important to remove these food groups temporarily whilst focusing on a gut healing protocol. This allows the digestive system to repair, sooth and restore function without being irritated by sensitive food groups. ALCAT testing examines:

  • Food sensitivities between 100-200 different food groups.

  • Food additives.

  • Food chemicals.

  • Environmental chemicals.

  • Moulds.

  • Herbs/dietary supplements.

  • Antibiotics and anti-inflammatories.

  • Yes. All our consultation consultations can be done online or in person.

  • The Complete Microbiome Map (CMM) is the most accurate way to assess gastrointestinal (GI) function. Through the analysis of a stool sample the labs can assess different immune, inflammation and digestive markers, identify the health of your microbiome and the presence of any parasites, worms, fungi or non-beneficial microbes. The health of our digestive system is the foundation to the health of our entire body! If we cannot digest and absorb the nutrients from our diet well, the rest of our bodies organs will suffer. The CMM allows us to correct any imbalances without simply "guessing".

  • No, supplementation is not always necessary. Ideally we will get all our nutrients from whole food sources, which is why we have a food first approach. However, targeted supplementation can be most supportive in assisting the body back to optimal function and it is highly recommended. Please note that our supplement protocols are always "short term". They allow the body to re-correct any imbalances and restore natural healthy function.

  • Eating a whole food nutrient dense diet does not need to be restrictive. We focus on what you can eat and all of the amazing foods being added into your diet, rather than just a list of what to not eat. Seasonal, local and fresh foods are so delicious you won't feel like you are missing anything after a while!
